MCMarket / Legal
Terms of Service
The terms for buying and selling in-game items and currency on Minecraft servers.
Updated 23 October 202601. About these terms
These terms apply to orders placed with MCMarket through our website or an authorised order channel linked from it. “We”, “us” and “our” mean MCMarket; “you” means the customer placing the order. “Virtual assets” means the in-game items or currency identified in an order.
We buy and sell virtual assets on specified Minecraft servers. Checkout offers enabled payment methods: Litecoin, Bitcoin, Solana, Ethereum, PayPal, Paysafecard, IBAN bank transfer, and supported Minecraft items or money. Availability depends on the order, server, minimum amount and current stock. Each order covers only the assets and services expressly described in its confirmation. In-game assets are not investments or a promise of redemption.
MCMarket is an independent service. It is not an official Minecraft service and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Naming a server does not imply that its owner authorises, endorses or partners with us.
We will make these terms available before you commit to an order. Browsing the website alone does not create a purchase agreement.
02. Accounts & eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into the transaction. Where you cannot do so independently, a parent or legal guardian must place the order on your behalf if permitted by applicable law and the relevant platform rules.
You must be authorised to use the Minecraft account and payment account, wallet or assets used for your order. Provide accurate player names, account identifiers, server details and contact information, and tell us promptly if anything changes before delivery.
You are responsible for checking the rules that apply to your account and each server involved. These terms do not grant permission to trade where a platform or server prohibits it.
03. Placing an order
A listing or quote is an invitation to order. We accept your order when we expressly confirm acceptance through the website or an authorised order channel. An automated acknowledgement or payment receipt alone does not confirm acceptance unless it expressly says so.
Before payment, the order details must identify:
- The assets, quantity and relevant server, realm, game mode or season.
- The receiving player account and agreed delivery method.
- The selected payment method, exact amount or item quantity, recipient and disclosed fees and taxes; for cryptocurrency, the supported network and any required memo or destination tag.
- The payment instructions or invoice, payment deadline, any required network confirmations and delivery deadline or period.
- Any requirements you must meet for delivery and any order-specific restrictions.
Check these details before proceeding. We will correct pricing or listing errors before acceptance and ask you to agree to the corrected terms. We will not silently change the price or substitute an asset after accepting an order. If we decline an order after receiving payment, we will refund it under section 09.
04. Payment methods & prices
Use only the payment method and instructions shown for your order. For cryptocurrency, use the specified coin and network. PayPal, Paysafecard and IBAN bank purchases complete the normal website checkout and verification first, then receive a purchase code for a linked Discord Purchase ticket. An authorised admin must confirm receipt of the full payment before delivery begins.
Minecraft-item and money payments use the item, quantity, server and recipient shown in checkout and require verified delivery evidence. Minecraft-money payments also require enough available funded demand. Your payment instructions state the amount due, applicable conversion basis and quote expiry. We disclose our fees before you commit. Payment providers, wallets or exchanges may charge separate fees; check that the amount reaching the stated recipient matches the amount due.
For an accepted order, payment of the quoted amount within the agreed payment window fixes the price. Later market movements do not create an extra charge or refund. If the quote expires before you pay, request fresh instructions. We will obtain your agreement to any revised price or cancel and refund any payment received under section 09.
Delivery may depend on receipt of the full payment, the network confirmations stated before payment and reasonable fraud checks. A screenshot, transaction submission or unconfirmed transaction alone does not establish completed payment.
05. Crypto transfers, delays & payment errors
Before sending cryptocurrency, verify the full destination address, coin or token, blockchain network, amount and any required memo or destination tag against our confirmed instructions. Do not reuse an address or invoice from an earlier order unless we confirm that you should.
Confirmed blockchain transfers generally cannot be reversed by us. Sending an unsupported asset, using the wrong network or address, or omitting a required memo or tag may make funds inaccessible. We cannot guarantee recovery. Where a loss results solely from your failure to follow correct instructions, we are not responsible for that loss. This does not exclude responsibility for incorrect instructions or other errors on our part.
If you send too little, too much, pay twice or pay after an invoice expires, contact support with the transaction hash and order reference. We will verify what we received and agree a top-up, corrected order or refund as appropriate. We will not treat an excess payment as a tip or automatically keep it.
Blockchain congestion, network disruption and exchange withdrawal checks may delay payment. We do not control those systems. We will explain any resulting delivery delay and agree the next step; a payment delay does not justify keeping confirmed funds for an order we cannot fulfil.
Keep your transaction hash and payment instructions. Never provide your wallet seed phrase, private keys, exchange password or security codes to us or anyone claiming to act for us.
06. Delivery & completion
Delivery is made to the account and server specified in the accepted order. Minecraft-money recipients must be verified offline before a transfer; senders can remain online. Item delivery may require inventory space, a matching in-game order or other server requirements shown in your instructions. Any material requirement must be explained before you commit.
Delivery estimates are estimates; a deadline expressly agreed for your order remains part of the agreement. Stock, server access, maintenance and player availability may affect timing. We will notify you of a material delay and discuss a revised deadline or the remedies in sections 07 and 09.
Delivery is complete when the agreed assets are actually credited to, or made available for collection by, the correct account through the agreed method. An attempted transfer, an internal “completed” status or a staff statement alone does not establish delivery. We may use transaction records, screenshots and server logs to investigate, and you may challenge those records.
A partial delivery fulfils only that part of the order. We will not treat an entire order as complete while assets remain outstanding.
07. Delayed, missing or incorrect delivery
If assets do not arrive, are incorrect or are short of the agreed quantity, contact support with your order reference and relevant details. Report problems promptly to help preserve evidence; a delay in reporting does not automatically remove your legal rights.
Our error. If we use details different from those you confirmed, supply the wrong assets or otherwise fail to meet the agreement, we will put the problem right through the appropriate completion, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Incorrect details or missed collection. If you supplied the wrong details or did not meet agreed delivery requirements, we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the problem. You may be responsible for a loss directly caused by that mistake where we followed the confirmed instructions with reasonable care. Any additional work or cost must be explained and agreed before it is charged.
External disruption. A server outage, blocked transfer or other event outside our reasonable control may prevent delivery. We do not guarantee that we can override server systems or recover inaccessible assets. However, external disruption does not by itself entitle us to keep payment for an unfulfilled order. We will explain what happened and arrange completion, cancellation or another remedy that applies to the order.
08. Server bans, rollbacks & asset loss
Buying in-game assets with cryptocurrency may breach server rules on real-money trading or other trading restrictions. A server may issue a temporary or permanent ban, restrict trading, remove assets or reset balances because you use this service. Do not place an order if you are unwilling to accept that risk.
What we cannot guarantee
We do not control Minecraft, Microsoft accounts or independent server operators. We cannot promise that a trade will go undetected, that your account will remain unrestricted, or that a server will preserve items or currency.
Servers may wipe economies, roll back transactions, change rules, alter item properties, remove currency, close permanently or suffer technical failures. Virtual assets depend on the continued operation and permissions of the relevant server; buying them does not give you control over the server or its decisions.
Who bears these risks
Where we correctly fulfil your order and have not caused the loss through a breach of our obligations, negligence or misleading statements, we do not compensate you for a later server ban, independent enforcement decision, wipe, rollback, shutdown or change in asset value. These events alone do not create a right to a replacement, refund, unban service or compensation for lost playtime, progress or other account assets.
This allocation of risk does not excuse undelivered orders, misdescribed assets or losses for which we are legally responsible. If a ban or server action occurs before delivery, the incomplete order is handled under sections 07 and 09. A risk warning does not make a prohibited trade permissible.
09. Cancellations, returns & refunds
Item orders automatically refund the undelivered portion after 7 days, or earlier if the in-game order expires. These automatic refunds have no cancellation fee. For purchases paid with crypto, bank, PayPal, Paysafecard or Minecraft money, choosing to cancel early returns 90% of the undelivered purchased value; the remaining 10% is an early cancellation fee. After the full-refund date shown on your order, the undelivered value refunds at 100%. Delivered amounts are excluded and overpayments have no cancellation fee. Crypto refunds use the original coin. Bank, PayPal and Paysafecard purchases return as Minecraft money on the delivery server at the saved purchase value. Minecraft money or item payments retain their saved-value refund on the server used to pay. Money orders remain open until delivered or refunded by choice. The seven-day money refund window runs from the latest merged paid purchase for the same username and server. Refund money remains owed and cannot be refunded again. Existing delivery checks and refund confirmations may take additional time. Mandatory consumer rights remain available.
Use the order’s cancellation and refund review, or contact support if you need help. Confirmed delivery remains credited; outstanding or uncertain transfers must be reconciled before the undelivered refund can be calculated safely. Closing a dialog alone does not cancel an order or release an uncertain payment.
Correctly delivered assets are not covered by a discretionary change-of-mind refund or exchange. This does not restrict any cancellation period or remedy that applies by law.
Where consumer law provides a cooling-off period, it continues to apply unless a lawful exception or valid waiver applies. If immediate digital supply requires your express consent and acknowledgement that a cancellation right will be lost, we will obtain those separately before supply and confirm them in a form you can save. Accepting these terms alone is not that consent. Starting a service also does not automatically remove all cancellation rights.
If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will cancel the unfulfilled part and refund the amount paid for that part using the agreed payment method. You may also have a right to cancel the whole order where the incomplete part makes the remainder unusable for its agreed purpose. We will not require you to accept a substitute or wait indefinitely.
For cryptocurrency payments, refunds are normally sent in the same cryptocurrency and on the same network as the payment, using the number of cryptocurrency units paid for the refunded part of the order, unless applicable law requires a different remedy. Changes in its conventional-currency value do not change that quantity. We will not impose store credit or another cryptocurrency without your agreement.
For cryptocurrency, the refund review shows the sending address when it can be determined, and lets you select a compatible replacement address. An exchange may not credit a return to its sending address; check your refund destination before confirming. For item purchases, PayPal, Paysafecard and bank payments refund the missing value as Minecraft money on the delivery server; Minecraft money and item payments refund as money on the server used to pay. This conversion uses the order’s saved agreement; later price changes do not reprice it. Mandatory legal remedies remain available.
We will issue refunds without an administration fee and cover the network fee for sending the refund. Fees paid separately to your wallet, exchange or network for the original payment are not amounts received by us; any obligation to reimburse those costs depends on applicable law and the cause of the loss. Refunds will be issued within the legally required period or, if no shorter period applies, within 14 days of agreeing the refund. Provide the necessary receiving details promptly. Network confirmation times may affect when the refund becomes available.
A cryptocurrency refund is a new transfer, not a reversal of the original blockchain transaction. The technical finality of a payment does not remove your contractual or legal right to a refund.
10. Security, impersonation & intermediaries
Use the support and ordering channels linked from our website. Check the recipient against your order confirmation before sending cryptocurrency. An unsolicited Discord message, similar username or claimed staff role is not proof of authorisation.
Never share your Minecraft or Microsoft password, login token, one-time security code, wallet seed phrase, private keys or recovery details. Delivery should not require control of your login credentials.
If a cryptocurrency payment processor or an authorised intermediary is involved, their role, recipient details and relevant fees must be explained before you proceed. We remain responsible for staff and contractors carrying out our obligations. We are not responsible for an unrelated impersonator or a separately arranged private deal where the loss was not caused by our own breach or negligence.
11. Misuse, refusal & suspension
You must not use the service for fraud, unauthorised payments, stolen cryptocurrency, false delivery claims, impersonation, account theft or abuse of staff and customers. Do not interfere with the website or exploit technical errors.
We may refuse a new order or temporarily pause an existing one where there are reasonable grounds to suspect misuse, a security problem or a legal or platform restriction. Where possible, we will explain the reason and what is needed to resolve it. Any pause must last no longer than reasonably necessary.
Ending access to our service does not automatically forfeit your cryptocurrency payment. Outstanding orders and any cryptocurrency held will be resolved under these terms and applicable law. We will not impose an automatic penalty for making an honest complaint or payment dispute.
12. Our responsibility & your legal rights
We are responsible for performing our agreed obligations with reasonable care and for losses for which applicable law makes us responsible. We do not accept responsibility for losses caused solely by events outside our reasonable control where we have met those obligations, or for losses caused solely by your own actions.
We do not promise uninterrupted access, future trading opportunities, investment returns or the continued market value of virtual assets. Your purchase covers the agreed delivery, rather than insurance for your Minecraft account or its contents.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Nothing removes mandatory consumer rights relating to delivery, quality, description, reasonable care, cancellation or remedies.
Any exclusion in these terms applies only where lawful and fair in your circumstances. It does not prevent a refund or other remedy for a failure for which we are responsible.
13. Complaints & payment disputes
Contact MCMarket support with your order reference, player name, server, cryptocurrency transaction hash, network and a description of the issue. Relevant screenshots or timestamps can help. Share payment information privately and redact unrelated personal details.
We will review the available evidence, explain our response and propose a resolution where appropriate. Our records are evidence, not a final or binding decision about your rights.
Please give us an opportunity to help, but you do not have to complete an internal process before exercising a legal right or meeting a relevant deadline. Direct blockchain payments generally do not offer a card-style chargeback procedure. This does not prevent a complaint to a cryptocurrency payment processor where one is involved, or any regulatory or court procedure available to you. We may provide relevant transaction and delivery evidence in response; we do not charge a penalty merely because you raise a dispute.
14. Privacy & transaction records
We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Order communications and transaction records may be used to arrange delivery, prevent fraud and resolve disputes, subject to applicable data-protection law.
Keep a copy of the accepted order, these terms and your cryptocurrency payment records. Do not post private account or payment information in public support channels.
15. Changes & other terms
We may update these terms for future orders. The version made available when we accepted your order continues to apply to that order unless a change is required by law or separately agreed with you.
Order-specific details expressly agreed before acceptance govern the assets, price, delivery method and deadline for that order. Supplementary policies, including Delivery & refunds, must be available before you commit and cannot remove mandatory rights or promises already made.
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply where they can fairly operate without it. A delay in enforcing a right does not by itself waive that right.
Applicable law determines the law and courts governing a dispute. These terms do not restrict any mandatory protection or right to bring proceedings in a court available to you as a consumer.
